Makenna was naturally led to conducting through her love of orchestral music. As the current guest conductor for the USC Student Symphony Orchestra, she gets to experience the exhilaration of leading a large ensemble while learning what it means to fully master a piece of music. She also enjoys conducting for the film scoring recording sessions of herself and her peers.
